e'll be using this space
to post our book responses, experiment with wiki tools, and to figure how to save the world from Dracula.
It's kind of a cool space - really it is!!
Sandbox: Please add a New Page (button over left) with your first name followed by 'sandbox'. Experiment on this page to see what you can do. The Widgets are really great tools!! Imagine you are setting up a page for an activity for your students or colleagues...incorporate several tools into it such as links, a file (like your Google Earth file, a handout, a video from YouTube, TeacherTube, GoogleVideo (click on the Widget button while in EDIT mode to see tons of widget possibilities!) or imagine it being an interactive class website. Just play and see what happens!
For week 6: Add another new page with your first name followed by 'book response' and post on that page what you found from our text that really struck you (positively or negatively) or that you feel would be worthwhile to use in the classroom. Please expound on 2 or 3 points from the text.
Please visit each others book reviews and leave feedback using the DISCUSSION button located near the top of the screen.
Here's one use of a widget...bringing in a video from sources like YouTube or TeacherTube. You have to click the EDIT button to the upper right and a formatting bar will appear. One of the button is for Widgets...check out the options there!!!
