I did start a wiki with students last year in math and it worked okay-I had them working in pairs on a page collaborating-I do think I can improve on it. I'm glad you liked the book...I thought it would accompany this course well.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nMy training and certification area is in math though I teach career exploration\/financial literacy through technology integration. Having that math background however has made me very aware as to how hard it can be to integrate math into a lot of these applications. I've seen a teacher use Comic Life to have kids explain and demonstrate a math concept, teachers record themselves solving a sample problem and adding the video to a blog, the use of Geogebra, EDC applets (<!-- ws:start:WikiTextUrlRule:4:http:\/\/maine.edc.org\/mod\/resource\/view.php?id=375 --><a class=\"wiki_link_ext\" href=\"http:\/\/maine.edc.org\/mod\/resource\/view.php?id=375\" rel=\"nofollow\">http:\/\/maine.edc.org\/mod\/resource\/view.php?id=375<\/a><!-- ws:end:WikiTextUrlRule:4 -->) and (<!-- ws:start:WikiTextUrlRule:5:http:\/\/maine.edc.org\/mod\/resource\/view.php?id=462 --><a class=\"wiki_link_ext\" href=\"http:\/\/maine.edc.org\/mod\/resource\/view.php?id=462\" rel=\"nofollow\">http:\/\/maine.edc.org\/mod\/resource\/view.php?id=462<\/a><!-- ws:end:WikiTextUrlRule:5 -->), collaborative hands on projects that apply math concepts, on line quizzes for formative assessments... There are ways but you are right when you say it's more of a challenge.
