\nI'm not sure of the importance of time tables if we know that we want to get to the vault during daylight hours. If he has been imprisoned for so many years, I am understanding that to mean that he has been unable to leave his grave and feed. He will be weak. We shouldn't have to worry about darkness when searching for his grave, we just want to make sure that it is of the daytime hours when we open it. \nI have done some research and posted my initial ranking of the 12 items. I have included some notes on what I found. Once others add to that, we can discuss a group ranking. Somehow, though, I feel that the human collaboration must rank first!

\nHere is my plan, but I am certainly flexible and willing to change or adjust:

\nFirst of all, we need to work collaboratively, since that is the whole point of this assignment. After that, we need to get to Dracula, therefore the high ranking of the maps. We'll need the map of his castle when we arrive to find his coffin. The flashlights will help us find it, as I'm sure it will be very dark. The branch of the wild rose prevents him from being able to open his coffin and come out. So, if we get there, find his crypt, open it with the key, and place the branch on his coffin, we will save the world from him! I'm in total agreement with Karen and Tania for the first three items. Then we slightly differ. Let me explain my thought process.

\nFirst thing first, we need to get along and work together. Next we need to get there (hence the ticket\/transportation). Next we need a table detailing the sunrise and sunset schedule so that we can plan our attack at the most opportune time: daytime. We need an axe to open the tomb\/crypt and the garlic adds some nice protection. Now according to my research, vampires are vulnerable to man-made weapons when they are "sleeping" in their tombs. But then again, I've never shot a gun so I have the oak stake for back up in case none of us can shoot him (not that impaling a stake into his heart would be any easier).
\n
\nThen I focus on protection measures just in case we are unsuccessful making the kill. I have the branch of wild rose followed by the cross, holy water, etc. According to my research those "holy" items are only effective if you actually practice your faith. Let's hope I have enough Catholic upbringing in reserve to protect us all or perhaps some of you are currently practicing. My last two items are the herbs (don't see how they are helpful) and the flashlight. If we plan our attack during the day, we don't need a flashlight.

I also agree with your other aspects of protection. I still don't know what the steel cage is for unless we want to put him in there once we get him out of the coffin? And the flashlights-they could also be used as a weapon to whack him over the head. When do we need to have a plan by and agreement? By Sunday?
