Picasa is part of the Google family and very friendly with Google Sites. You can upload you images into Picasa (where there is quite a bit of storage space) and then using the widgets bring those photos into the site individually or as a slide show. <br \/>\n<br \/>\nFor the one about justice, I like having your local police officer (and perhaps other key community members) being part of the conversation. The kids will take on a more serious tone in their writing knowing it is really being read, considered, and responded to by a real audience.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nYour quote about how writing in blogging is writing that continues is a good one. It's not a one time deal, people can add and weigh in with their own ideas and thoughts...and it is sometimes immediate.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nRSS has gotten some interest here in the class.
